NTC Sport Class Rules
Applicable 2005 season
The following rules are to be used in conjunction with the current AARCMCC rules for 1/10TH I.C. 200mm class. The rules will be used for all club and sanction events held at WARCMCC club.
1.
Choice of Foam or Moulded tyres are allowed.
2.
Urethane and foam inserts may be placed inside the
moulded tyres.
3.
Treatment of the tyres with additives is prohibited.
4.
Control engines will apply for 2005 season are as
follows

Force 12
·
S.H 12
·
O.S cvx 12
In addition RTR (Ready to run) and Kit engines supplied with the kit will be
permitted in sports class provided they have starters built in. When engines
are to be rebuilt or replaced, they must be replaced with any of these 3 engines mentioned
above.
5.
.15 engines can be used only if it comes in the car
kit. If engine is to be replaced, it can only be replaced with one of the
control engines mentioned in point 4 above.

Permitted starting methods of engines

Electric start
·
Roto start
·
Starting box
· Pull start mechanism or any of it’s components must not be
removed.
·
Engines modifications are not permitted except carburators (choice of
slide or rotor) and oversized head heat sink.
7.
Minimum weight without fuel: 1725.00 grams.
8.
Race Duration
o
Round Days: 5min heats and 10min finals
o
Cup Days: 5min heats and 10min finals
o
Championship Days: 10min heats and 15min finals
o
State Title: 10min heats and 15min finals
